My early impression is that I like the matching mechanic and would like a game focused more on that, either with no time limits on the move, or start out with very generous limits that get shorter as you get farther. As for all the monster stuff, I think I get why it makes it more enjoyable for some, but its not really my cup o tea. It seems like to really be enjoyed, youd have to really get learn and understand details about monster types, how to level up efficiently, how to combine them, and so on, and I dont think the time investment that would require is worth the payoff for me in enjoyment. Its early enough I might change my mind, but having read some of that wiki, I feel like I already screwed up my early game and this has the look of a short-lived addiction. Ive enjoyed trying it out, though, so thanks for bringing it to my attention.
