The Momoa Mavis, Mavis #0001 for Jason Momoa. Roasted maple, tort pickguard. Tricone. Semi hollow - 2" body depth. The arching of back plate I wanted to be next level so I enlisted my good friend @jacobyfineviolins to bring the heat. Check out the diagram he made for the thicknesses. He said something about gate theory. I swooned. This guitar is based on old, traditionally accepted ideas, but is something really new. I’m excited to see where you all take it.
Drop Dead Gorgeous!! I'm hoping this is a new signature add to the Mavis Line! I know you've got so much on your plate already and the core line-up is the essence of your craft...but these features are likely to be in demand as soon as more & more see & then hear it.
