Mule Bus

The Mule Bus rides again!  

First THIS is the Mule Bus. What’s the Mule bus? It’s a sprinter van full of resonator guitars, food, and beer that we use to tailgate at shows anywhere a Mule is played. 

I got it at a time when I was wrestling against the idea of having to “get better at” social media.  It honestly felt gross.  Hearing live music with other people is my favorite thing so I decided to do that more instead.  

The first was an Ariel Posen show where Nathaniel Murphy and I ate the world’s hottest potato chip while he played guitar, Tyler Bryant’s Album release in nashville where he pied-pipered people in line to the bus, The Bros Landreth all across the East Coast, Minnie Marks’ first US tour and all sorts of other places. 

Coming up I’ll be driving to Jazzfest in New Orleans end of April, Collings Guitars right after, and the Dallas Guitar Show right after that.  Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville, and hopefully Telluride Blues and Brews and Under the Big Sky in Montana. I will also be at the Fretboard Summit in Chicago in August. Stay tuned for concert dates with Charlie Parr, Ariel Posen, Bros Landreth, and whoever else I can fit in. 

20 years ago I drove to see musicians I loved play and slept in my car in the parking lots and now I get to do it fro my job with you beautiful people. Come say hi!
