Here's the short of it: A few weeks ago I developed blood clots in both my lungs and almost went to the great reso-pasture in the sky. (I'm good now!)

With the reflection that such an event creates I kept thinking about my favorite Mule story. It's the one where I met an impressive 10 year old kid from California named Austin at the NAMM show, befriended him and his family over the years and then found out that his great grandfather had lived right next to me growing up in Michigan and had given me my first violin.

I wouldn't bet doing this work without this gift. 

So.  We made this tritone out of Monel and are raffling it to support a local charity here in Saginaw called Major Chords for Minors. They get musical instruments and lessons to kids here in Saginaw.

Monel was the original guitar string material and sounds amazing. It’s also REALLY expensive.

  We are partnering with American Musical Supply so your dollars go that furthest. I know people there personally and have been part of their Experience Music Project at Bourbon and Beyond Festival for a few years.
